Tonight a delegate from 48 Sunset joined master chef Jordy and sous-chef Chelle to partake in what was originally advertised as a tex-mex leftover extravaganza. After determining that the leftover beans smelled bad and the rice was moldy, it was decided that new food would simply have to be made. Still stuck on the tex-mex trend, the chefs began by making Jordy's world-famous pico de gallo, and by sauteing peppers and onions, essentials for any tex-mex meal. Ideas were tossed around, and finally settling on fajitas, the chefs continued on their mission. Earlier that day, Jordy had found an easy tortilla recipe, and discovering the presence of shortening in the cupboard, she exclaimed that we would make the tortillas by hand! Beehler took control over the operation, letting the final doughy product set until she recieved "the vibe". After approximately 12 minutes, the top bowl covering said dough shuttered and fell to the side! Just the sign Beehler had been waiting for!! After much rolling and heating, the tortillas were baked to perfection, and the three ladies settled in for a most satisfying meal.
