Shockingly early in the year, but this means no more numb toes whilst studying (which can be very distracting and drive one into bed with a heating pad and "Peyton Place" and be unproductive thence forth).

Also, today one of the books I checked out of Tisch hadn't been checked out since 1963. Guess no one pays much attention to Charles Lamb anymore. I felt obscure and righteous.

Our heater makes little clinking and rushing noises, like there are mice spelunking in the vents with leaf-blowers.
